Travel to Saint Louis
By car:
St. Louis is easily accessible if you are driving. There are many interstates that pass through downtown St. Louis.
Flying into Saint Louis:
You will fly into Lambert Airport, which is served by two terminals, Terminal 2 (Southwest) and Terminal 1 (all other major airlines). Rental cars agencies are by the baggage claim on the lower level.
Travel from the airport to the Saint Louis University area:
Cabs are available outside the airport, across from baggage claim. A cab ride to the SLU area will cost around $35-$40.
St. Louis has a light rail system called Metrolink. A Metrolink ticket is $2.50. You can get on Metrolink at either terminal. Get off at Grand Station. You will need to either take the elevator or climb the stairs to street level. Turn right (heading east) on Grand. The Angad Arts Hotel is about a mile away. Keep walking on Grand until you hit Samuel Shepherd Drive, turn right for the Angad. You can also catch a bus going down Grand.
St. Louis, like many Midwestern cities, is more friendly to cars than pedestrians. A restaurant may be a block away, but a block in the Midwest is very long.
There are plenty of trottinettes for the more adventuresome!
